The Japanese Folk Dance Institute of New York, Inc. is a non-profit arts service organization. Only a small percentage of our expenses are covered by performance and class fees! Contributions from you and other friends are essential in ensuring that the  The Japanese Folk Dance Institute of New York, Inc. can continue to bring beautiful Japanese folk dancing to communities like yours. Contributions cover such expenses as:

 • Rental fees for rehearsal studios
 • Paying dancers for rehearsals and performances
 • Buying costumes and props from Japan
 • Having our own special event performances
