HANAGASA PARADE & WORKSHOP EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
We will perform a “HANAGASA PARADE” (flower hat dance parade) at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s 2015
SAKURA MATSURI on Saturday, April 25th, from 4:00-5:00pm, at the Osborne Garden.
Anyone is welcome to parade, but in order to participate you have to register and must come to the HANAGASA ODORI (flower hat dance) Workshop.
Registration Fee (hat rental fee): $10/each, Free/children(who use paper hat). Please email your name, Tel number and e-mail address to momosuzuki@nyc.rr.com for your registration.
Hanagasa Odori Workshop:
Date: Saturday, March 28th 5:00-6:00pm & April 11th 2:00-3:00pm
Place: DANY STUDIOS (305 W. 38th Street, at 8 Ave.)
Fees: Adult $10/(cash only), free for children who dance with a parent.
All ages and levels welcome!

Japanese folk dance class, Saturday, 6/29, at the STEPPING OUT STUDIOS (37 W. 26th Street, 9th Floor).
12:00 ~ 1:00 Intermediate Class (Fee $12) Ayako mai
1:00 ~ 2:00 Beginners Class (Fee $12) Aizu Bandaisan, Sansa, etc.
If you take both classes, the fee is $20.
There are no classes on 7/6, 7/13.
I will restart the Saturday class on 7/20.
